Today, has been an exciting day at Plant Enthusiast Towers, with a trip to that there London Town in the cold and the snow to attend the Garden Press Event.
A day when journalists, broadcasters and bloggers are invited to view the new products being launched for the 2018 gardening season.
With container gardening at an all time high, and more people being forced to garden in increasingly small spaces, pots in all their different forms were drawing a lot of attention.
However there was one pot that stole the show, from Cadix.
A resin pot, in a range of contemporary styles, but with one added “killer feature” that makes these pots of huge interest to Plant Enthusiasts, they have a layer of frothed resin on the inside to act as a layer of insulation, which will help to guard against flash release of slow release nutrients (when high compost temperatures result in the release of all their nutrient content in on one go, rather than over a season) and also frost protection.
A great idea, and it has to be said a good looking pot as well…
