These are a competitively priced gardening glove, selling for around £12.
The backs are made of an elasticated spandex fabric, which gives a comfortable, tight fit, but which offers little protection from thorns, or even slight prickles.
The leather is thin, which has the advantage of allowing more intricate gardening tasks to be undertaken, but offers no protection from cold, water or again thorns.
They are well made and have a tight fit, held in place with a velcro strap.
The real purpose of these lightweight gloves is to protect hands from contact with soil and compost, they may also help to alleviate blisters.
We will report back after using the gloves more extensively, comparing them against our regular brand Goldleaf.
